May 16, 2023 · IGP Côtes du Brian is a subregional title of the Pays d'Hérault IGP, encompassing a cluster of 12 communes at the western end of the Hérault department. This region is broadly consistent with the northern (Hérault) portion of the Minervois appellation which spreads south into the Aude department.
They chose the unique terroir of Saint-Jean-de-Minervois. At that time, the Domaine de Montahuc, named after the mountain peak "Le Montahuc" at 640 metres above sea level, was for sale. It was a simple farmhouse with 7 hectares of vines, managed organically since 1990.
