After assignments at Jackson (September), Saint Agnes, Omaha (October) and Kearney, Nebraska (November) in 1898, Fr. Harrington was assigned to Saint Cecilia (not yet the cathedral church) in October, 1899. He died in office on February 4, 1919.

This park made Columbus, NE the perfect place! We love history and close relatives actually rode in this craft! The idea of the park by students and the remarkable way the points in history are depicted is amazing. The Higgins boat, historical figures, history on plaques, the 9/11 sculpture. All of it in a peaceful, clean and well-kept park!
