  1. Carol-Lynn Parente (born December 15, 1963) is an American television producer, known as the executive producer of the children's educational TV series Sesame Street and creating the PBS KIDS series Hero Elementary.

    Carol-Lynn Parente (b. December 15, 1963) was the Senior Vice President of Sesame Workshop. Her previous experiences with Sesame Street, beginning in 1990, have ranged from post-production assistant to senior producer. In the latter capacity, Parente oversaw the animation and post-production processes for "Elmo's World" segments and related home video releases for four years. Parente was executive producer for Sesame Street from seasons 37 to 47 (the latter of which she functioned along with her successor Brown Johnson).

    Parente became a credited writer for the show for seasons 48 and 49. She is credited as a lyricist for The Sesame Street Podcast with Foley & Friends.
