Oct 15, 2015 · What’s happened to Jo Malone. Products are so inferior, that happened fast. I’ve beee purchasing the lime basil mandarin scent and bath oil since the 90’s. Most recently a couple of years ago and now today. The colour of the oil is now an insipid pail yellow and the scent is indistinguishable from anything else.
Sadly I have to reconsider using these perfumes as recently each time I use them I’m continually dealing with an itchy rash. I’m told by Jo Malone Customer Services that this could due to changes to environmental aspects of their ingredients. Who knows but it’s a shame either way. Date of experience: 04 November 2019.

Overall, Jo Malone is in my top ten houses. I love their delicate, photorealistic fragrances that communicate an understated (if slightly Sloane ranger-esque) elegance. If you prefer for all your fragrances to be "beast mode", then Jo Malone is not the house for you. However, not all of us want super strong fragrances that'll outlast cockroaches.

I bought a birthday gift for my partner Early in December and unfortunately I'd chosen the wrong scent so asked Jo Malone if I could exchange the unopened bottle.
