Christie Elementary will embrace diversity and collaborate as a community to serve and care for the whole child while ensuring the development of future ready learners. Campus Namesake J.W. “Bill” and Ruth Daffron Christie, both descendents of old Collin County farm families, were great contributors to Frisco and to the young people of this community.

She attended Frisco schools, graduating in 1949. She loved her school experiences and after graduation, she married Joe Carroll. When her children started elementary school, Reba joined the Frisco Parent Teacher Association, serving as vice president and president for two years each.

Students alternate schedules/classes every other day. Middle school students attend all of their classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. However, they attend periods 1,3,5, and 7 on Wednesdays and 2,4,6, and 8 on Thursdays.
