Make sure you do not miss the second beach of Puerto de la Cruz, the cosy Playa Martiánez. It is simple and unspoiled; a great place to relax on the dark coloured sand. In 2015, the beach of San Telmo has gone through a major renovation and a ramp for wheelchairs was added between the old chapel and the beach. Aug 2024 • Family. Nice beach, big waves, nice atmosphere. The sand is very very hot and you have no shade unless you rent an umbrella (12 eur - umbrella + 2 sunbeds). Also, the parking is not free (5 eur), and the access is very narrow.

It's not as large as Playa Jardin and here you won't find sunbeds and umbrellas, so you'll have to bring your own beach chairs or something to sit on.
