Sep 7, 2020 · You have two options: one with the Bethesda port, and the other with a community-made source port called Zandronum. With the Bethesda port, open your game and press shift+tab. Go to your friends list, right-click on the friend you wanna play with, and click on "remote play together".
Start a multiplayer server by launching Chocolate Doom with the -server command line option. For example, to start a server for a deathmatch game, type chocolate-doom -server -deathmatch. Other players can then join your server using the -connect option.

Feb 19, 2021 · You could use zandronum and both you and your friend could connect to a server, you can use IDE or Doomseeker to find them. If you live in the same house or so, you could use zdoom for peer-to-peer or use the fake splitscreen from lzdoom.
