- On the initial setup screen, tap the Skip button many times as fast as you can. This will blow past all the setup screens. If you reach the BlackBerry Desktop Software screen, you went one screen too far. Go back once, then tap Done. If you get stuck on a screen, go back to Wifi or earlier screen and try tapping Skip quickly again.

You will then go to the standard BBID sign-in screen. At this point you can turn Screen Reader off by pressing the power button three times in quick succession again. Select "Skip" on the BBID screen. You will either see a Regional Settings or Software Update screen.
Nov 6, 2013 · I performed a security wipe and am going through the set-up process to get it working on my BB-ID. When I get to the "Agreement" screen, it presents a field for country, and a "drop down". The field is blank, as is the drop down menu.
Boots up fine but going through the setup routine I get stuck on the "Agreement" page. The drop down doesn't show any country. I did a bit of digging and saw suggestions to "unbrick" via the desktop software but when I try to "update" it says no update was found.
There should be no trouble for any one using a Classic. I am working on a similar way of getting out to the main screen for folks without a full PKB (Passport/Z10/Z30/Leap etc.). The steps: Boot up your Classic as normal. Connect to a wireless network. Select "Hotspot Login" at the bottom once connected.

If the battery icon on the screen doesn’t show a lightning bolt or the charging LED does not blink, it is not charging. Try using a different micro-USB charger with the device. If it still does not charge, you may need to replace the battery or repair the USB port using this guide.
