Yaoundé (UK: / jɑːˈʊndeɪ, - ˈuːn -/; [2] US: / ˌjɑːʊnˈdeɪ /, French pronunciation: [ja.unde]) is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala.
