Great theater, Gorgeous building in and out, take time to explore. Incredible acoustics, the theater is primarily wood, it moves and vibrates with the music and sound, you can feel it in your feet and your seat as well as hear it, fantastic. Comfortable seats with enough room for tall people.

It operated as a movie theatre from the 1920s through the 1950s. The Calumet Theatre has been a national historic landmark since 1971 and is a heritage site of the Keweenaw National Historic Park. Still serving its original function, the Theatre continues to host events each year and offers tours.
