As well as tutorial missions and favors for the Warden, Call of the Wild: The Angler also features a range of challenges to be completed. These are assigned by the Shopkeeper and can be picked up at each of the four outposts across the map. On this page, we've detailed all of the photo, map, and fishing challenges you'll need to complete, as well as maps with all the locations marked on them.

There are four outposts for you to discover as you take a tour around the map. At the outposts, you'll find a noticeboard where you can pick up challenges. Each outpost has three fishing, map and photo challenges pinned. For every type of challenge, you'll be asked to catch a Silver, Gold and Diamond Rank fish.
We recommend completing The Golden Tour mission that takes you around 13 of the major sights in the Golden Ridge Reserve before starting any of the challenges. Each outpost is included in the sights, so you'll naturally unlock them while completing this mission. We'd then suggest picking up all of the challenges at once so you can complete them as you travel around.
For the photo challenges, you first need to find the location of the photo in your journal. If you've followed our advice and collected all the challenge mission notices before travelling around, you'll likely stumble on some of these locations without going out of your way to do so.
The checklist below features all of the available photo challenges, as well as the objectives for each outpost so you can tick them off as you go. Use the numbered map to find the location of each of the challenges.
Completing the map challenges should be approached in a similar way to the photo challenges. For these, however, you'll be given a small photo that has a marker on it to help you to find the location.

Fishing challenges are by far the easiest to locate of the three different types. When you enable tracking for each of the fishing challenges in your journal, a map marker will appear. These will take you straight to the location, then it's just a case of being patient and trying to catch the Silver, Gold and Diamond Rank fishes required.
