The subsidy is enormous and the only beneficiaries fairly wealthy people given the prices. It is sad, but its just a political football now with Sturgeon desperate to keep the flagship service.

I can remember it being around £25 when Serco first took over, but sadly these days are at least £40. First Class is good though if you can get it at just under £60.
