- Caged Birds is a very good independent film with strong performances throughout from it's young leads. The film takes a realistic approach in showing how a group of young teens stay together after killing two other teens who were bullying them in a prank gone wrong. The movie is a perfect length at 88 minutes.

Mar 1, 2022 · Caged Birds is a masterpiece from start to finish. The directing is strong, balancing a lot of tones at one time. The writing is strong, with two likable, engaging characters at the forefront. The visuals and music are excellent, elevating the characters and atmosphere masterfully.
