Before you set eyes on your ideal team comp, look at who the enemy has already picked. Does your champions/ team comp get countered by them? If so, be prepared to switch your champs to counter them! There are some other things to consider when picking your comp: 1. Who are your carrys, and who is the best player? If your ADC is your best player, pl...

This team composition relies on the strength of Xayah and Rakan to carry. This composition needs both Xayah and Rakan in early rotation to ensure that you can get the correct duo and that the enemy team doesn’t steal them. The Jungler should play around the bottom lane to ensure the Xayah can advance.

The double poke bottom lane is one of the most annoying and difficult matchups to play against in League of Legends. This is because they keep hitting you with abilities and poking you down. It can be difficult for anyone to lane against a double-poke matchup. During the laning phase, you must keep applying pressure to get kills, health advantages ...

An early skirmishing composition relies on good champions in 1v1s and 2v2s. They often fight in the early game to get ahead of their opponents. When playing in this team composition, you mustn’t fall off by getting a significant lead early on and snowballing from there. This team composition can be deadly and fun, too. Remember to group and make pl...

This team composition plays around the bottom lane with the main carrying being the Vayne. Ideally, Vayne will be accompanied by a utility Support who can provide healing and shielding. It is important to have a strong frontline and champions with CC to empower the Vayne too. You need to get ahead early, so your Jungler and your Mid laner should be...

This team comp relies on Rumble being the main carry, and him carrying your team through either the Top or Mid lane. This comp relies on having a strong early game Jungler, and champions who are good in team fights. It is basically a team fighting composition, with Rumble being the carry. He should get multiple ganks early, and then snowball from t...

A Pick Comp is basically what it says: it picks champions off who are out of position. This team composition can be extremely potent. It is good to pick champions in multiple roles that have ways to engage and are great in skirmishes. Since Rell is a great Jungler, you can flex her in either the Support or Jungle role. You also have the likes of Zo...

    Ideal Champs and Substitutions:

    1. Top: K’Sante/Shen 2. Jungle: Gragas/Trundle 3. Mid:Viktor/Anivia 4. ADC: Lucian 5. Support: Nami This team composition plays around the bottom lane and carrying through Lucian + Nami. It is usually played with an early game Jungler, or someone who can gank easily to get them snowballing. It is key to play very aggressive early on with a Nami Lucian lane as you need to get an early advantage and snowball from there. Your goal is to get the bottom lane ahead, snowball from there and empower...

    How to Counter

To beat a Nami Lucian lane, it’s best to pick some champions with long range so it is harder for him to all-in you with his E. For team fights, pick some champions with strong all-in so you can lock him down with CC so he is unable to dish out damage and carry his allies to victory.

    Ideal Champs and Substitutions:

    1. Top: Shen 2. Jungle: Rengar 3. Mid: Lux/Galio 4. ADC: Ezreal/Ziggs 5. Support: Yuumi/Karma This composition relies on getting the Rengar ahead and empowering him in team fights to carry. The Rengar will get a lot of heals, shields and what not to stay alive in fights and kill the enemy. Once he goes in with his Ultimate, Galio can follow him with his Ultimate, and Shen can provide a shield and followup with his Ultimate.

    How to Counter

To counter a Rengar comp, you should pick champions that can counter engage and who have lots of additional survivability. Twisted Fate can directly counter the Rengar with his Ultimate, and Xayah and Rakan can dodge his all-in too. A very important thing to do against this comp is to fight when Rengar isn’t around (go for picks when he is missing) and make sure you group as a team so he can’t pick people off.

    Ideal Champs and Substitutions:

    1. Top: Dr Mundo/Maokai 2. Jungle: Viego/Jarvan 3. Mid: Lissandra/Orianna 4. ADC: Kai’Sa/Varus 5. Support: Nami/Thresh The main goal of a team fight comp is to group as 5 and fight the enemy. Pick champions who are really good in team fights and have lots of CC which you can layer on to the enemy team to take them down. Make sure you play around each others cooldowns to maximize your chances of winning team fights. I’d recommend trying your absolute hardest to not fall behind early on or you’...

    How to Counter

Fighting fire with fire is the way to beat this type of team comp. Picks champions with strong laning pressure to get an advantage so when it is time to team fight, the enemy is weaker overall. Sustain, damage and pick potential is good for a team fight comp (or to counter one). Oh and dashes or mobility spells are highly beneficial too!
