The hilly, forested region lies at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, just west of the Allegheny Plateau. Feb 5, 2021 · There are 57 trails with over 80 miles of hiking to access the wooded hills of the area and secluded points of the lake. Destinations of interest here include Mills Falls and Bull Run Historic Area. There are two campgrounds on the WMA for extended visits.
