Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park has two environmental hike-in camping areas, named by Sunset magazine as one of the "four best places to pitch a tent on the Pacific Coast." [ 14 ] Both sites have exceptional views of the Pacific Coast, but access is restricted to those with camping reservations.
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park offers two hike-in, environmental tent campsites. These sites, in a cypress grove with spectacular views of the Big Sur coastline, offer picnic areas, storage cabinets and restrooms.
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park Campground has only 2 campsites, considered among the most beautiful camping spots along the Big Sur coast. The campsites are tent-only, walk-in sites south of McWay Cove.
