If you are only using webmail, which is when you sign into your email account on a web browser, you do not need to make any changes to your email account when it is moved from BTYahoo to BTMail. It should happen without any intervention from you. I posted a link called BTMail in my first post.

I'd recently read an article and seen that BT no longer offers email addresses to new customers or existing customers that never set up email addresses previously. It said existing email customers are unaffected for now but is this a prelude to BT eventually ceasing email services altogether?
Feb 8, 2020 · Re: BT mail / Yahoo mail app. There is not a BTYahoo app. It is the Yahoo app and it uses the Yahoo servers. You can no longer use it to access the BT email system. You will need to use another email app and ensure that it uses the correct BT server settings as per this link. You could try Thunderbird instead of Outlook.

This is getting worse and worse; The connection between my MS Outlook (running on an iMac) has been down more than its up for the last week. My recent monthly bill has gone up yet again, yet one of the key things that I am paying for becomes less and less reliable. Horrendous service.
