    Butter-flavored Crisco
    Brown sugar
    White sugar (granulated sugar)
    Eggs
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    Cream Crisco, brown sugar and white sugar together until creamy with an electric mixer.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing in between. Mix in vanilla.
    In a separate large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

    Let cool completely on wire racks. Store in an airtight container at room temperature. These are best if eaten within 3 to 5 days. Store these in the freezer for up to 6 months.     Use 1 stick of Butter Flavored Crisco or one cup if you’re using it from the canister.
    I use an entire 12 ounce bag of chocolate chips.
    Semi-sweet chocolate chips are used most often; however, milk chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips work too.
    Do not over mix the batter once you’ve started adding the flour mixture. Barely mix!
