BRUCE SOBOROFF. A veteran of the Chicago club and studio music scene, Bruce has been a member of the Buckinghams since 1986. With a background in rhythm and blues, jazz, composing and arranging, Bruce brings both traditional and technologically innovative ideas to The Buckinghams sound.
By early 1986, both Lewis and Cammelot left the group and were replaced by Bob Abrams (guitar, vocals) and Bruce Soboroff (keyboards, vocals). In 1991 Sony Music Entertainment (the present-day owner of Columbia Records) released a new greatest hits compilation, Mercy, Mercy, Mercy: A Collection.
Together with their band, Bruce Soboroff (keyboards, vocals), Tom Scheckel (drums), and Dave Zane (guitars and vocals), you are guaranteed a high-energy, fun show that celebrates the music you grew up falling in and out of love to, with memories that have endured for your lifetime.
Keyboardist/vocalist Bruce Soboroff has backed Carl and Nick since 1986. In the 1990s, The Buckinghams' tracks found renewed national interest when Sony/Legacy released the "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" compilation CD.
