Suddenly, we see things from her perspective, and everything slows down, with the voices of both her and Jeremy following suit.
I absolutely loved seasons 1-3 and I remember being so anxious for season 4 to start. But the 4th season did seem like a completely different show. Other than Abbi and Ilana being the main characters, the show didn't feel the same at all. I don't know why they changed it.
Season 4, Episode 1 We know that Abbi and Ilana share a pure, undying love for each other, but don't get insight into how they actually met until Season 4.

I loved broad city because it took the "raunchy male only comedy" and applied it with semi believable female characters and some of their shenanigans and behaviors reminded me of real friends I have when we were around that age.
