   Shocking customer service, all based outside the UK so terrible phone lines. My father’s flight was delayed from Hong Kong to Londo and he missed his transfer to Edinburgh. Leaving him in the airport for 10 hours when in fact there are hourly flights to Edinburgh. Plenty flights he could have got.

   Terrible customer service! Flights delayed over 9 hours with no update with flight or complimentary drinks or food to offer. Website is continuously crashing with no way of claiming cancellation costs back other than going through the website. Would definitely not use again.

   • British Airways definitely not as good as it used to be. On our return flight it was extremely hot in the cabin which seemed to be irritating people with dry throats and coughs. We flew back 4 days after the recent hurricane, which the crew said accounted for the fact that they did not have enough food and drinks on board.

   Is British Airways a disgrace?

   • British Airways is truly a disgrace as our "national airline". With only eight seats in First Class, you would think they could provide a genuine "white glove" experience. Instead, the crew in First Class both ways were inattentive, ill-mannered, and badly trained. One gets better service in McDonalds.
