I usually agree with the ratings very closely and prefer content with a 7 or above 99% of the time. I guess this show is in that other 1% because I'd rate it an 8, probably. The IMDb rating is below 7 which is pretty bad for a fantasy show with a decent cast and budget. EDIT: There's much more humor than I would have expected and I wasn't sure ...
Jan 19, 2018 · Verdict - 3.5/10. 3.5/10. For most of Britannia's 9 episodes, this tonally confused show jumps between historical drama and all out fantasy epic whilst blending an awkward mix of modern and ancient dialogue with historical inaccuracies and ill-timed jokes.
