    The original Main Street Bridge, a multiple-span, open-spandrel concrete deck arch bridge, was constructed in 1937. 3It was designed by Edward A. Ramsey and built by J.H. Prior. The crossing was closed to traffic in 2000 after it had substantially deteriorated and was demolished starting on August 25, 2006. 7
