Brainstorm was an immensely talented band that met in the Detroit suburb of Ferndale and ended up making some of the great music of the late 70s and early 80s. They were perhaps most noted for their smash disco hit, “Lovin’ Is Really My Game.”
Belita Woods, the lead singer of the 70s group Brainstorm and also a frequent performer as part of the Parliament/Funkadelic posse, has died. Woods was the strong voice behind Brainstorm’s smash hit “Lovin’ Is Really My Game” as well as “This Must Be Heaven” and the group’s other memorable songs.
