It felt like Lauren was Boy Meets World's version/equivalent of Cara from The Wonder Years. The reason why Cara reminds me of Lauren is because Cara naturally had this deep connection/vibe with Kevin that came from an organic place. Same with Lauren and Cory's connection in my opinion.
