Summer Arts at BAA. BAA partners with the BPS Arts Office to offer opportunities for students in grades 6-8 to learn in and through the arts at Boston Arts Academy. Offered exclusively for BAA students, our summer reading and math programs are an award-winning 5-week program that provides intensive academic intervention to students in reading and math through small group instruction with highly trained reading specialists and math teachers.
Boston Arts Academy - Summer Learning Academy (Grades 9-11) Our summer math and reading program consists of 9th, 10th, 11th, and rising 12th graders of which are our own BAA students.
In the first two years of study, all theater students take classes in Acting, Movement, Voice and Speech, playwriting, and technical theater classes in Stagecraft, Intro to Lighting, Set, Costume and Film.
