Course Offerings. In the first two years of study, all theater students take classes in Acting, Movement, Voice and Speech, playwriting, and technical theater classes in Stagecraft, Intro to Lighting, Set, Costume and Film.

We offer pathways to success through a rigorous arts-based, college preparatory academic curriculum and a competitive arts curriculum.

3 days ago · Katherine Chapman Stemberg, board member at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the Brookline Music School and an Overseer of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, in the Civic Responsibility category. The event raised $1.65 million for the Boston Arts Academy (BAA), the city’s only public high school for the visual and performing arts.
