Apr 5, 2022 · Read Time: 8 Minute, 15 Second. By: John M Jerva. Neil McDonough returns as the hitman with a conscience in the sequel to 2021’s Red Stone. This time around, the sequel is simply called Boon which is McDonough’s character’s name and with the simpler title, we have a sequel that ups the action and tension in every way from the original.
This is a TV-level, slow-moving action story with excellent actors who save the movie from being much worse than it is. Nothing special about the plot except it's mostly older people (e.g., McDonough and Flanagan) with far less-than-believable backstories.
