Robert "Bobby" Ciaro (died 30 July 1975) was a union organizer for the Teamsters. Ciaro was Jimmy Hoffa's right-hand man, and he was deeply involved with union corruption; Ciaro and Hoffa were both murdered at the roadside diner in Bloomfield Township, Michigan in July 1975.

Hoffa was released a year after Oliver Stone’s JFK and within weeks of Spike Lee’s Malcolm X , a trio of “would-be interventions” into the cultural chat, per Sight & Sound at the time.
Ciaro assists Hoffa and Flynn in the arson of a laundry whose owner refuses to cooperate with the Teamsters. Flynn accidentally sets himself on fire and dies of his injuries. Ciaro then becomes Hoffa's new bodyguard and assistant.
