Our story. Willow was founded in 1999 by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, as a lasting memorial to their daughter, Anna, who died of cancer aged 31. Anna lived with cancer for five years.

Bob and Megs Wilson, from Chesterfield, are the co-founders of the ‘Willow Foundation’, the only national charity providing special days out to seriously ill adults aged 16-40.
