The VETERAN'S ADMINISTRATION MEDICAL CENTER in Cleveland comprises 2 facilities: the Cleveland Veteran's Administration (VA) Hospital (called by its location, WADE PARK ), which was, in the 1980s, a 780-bed general medical and surgical hospital, and the Brecksville Veteran's Administration Hospital, a 999-bed psychiatric hospital.

Elizabeth Fine Smilovich, MD is a practicing Geriatrician at the Cleveland Veteran Affairs Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Clinical activity at the VA is facilitated by the electronic medical system. The center also includes two outpatient clinics, including the Center for Restorative and Transitional Care, and coordinates care at 13 additional community-based out-patient clinics in the greater Cleveland area.
Residents provide patient care with graduated supervision in the setting of a major, academically affiliated medical center, with rotations to the adjacent Blind Rehabilitation Center and one freestanding outpatient clinic.
