His voice, an eerie mix of Elvis Presley and Jim Morrison drenched in a gothic, sinister delivery that has become his gimmick, sounds better than ever.
May 25, 2017 · The vibe of Black Laden Crown can be gleaned by its song titles: “The Witching Hour”, “But a Nightmare”, “Blackness Falls”. The signature Danzig sound is omnipresent and consistent, but those looking for classic Danzig sing-alongs like “Am I Demon” and “Twist of Cain” will be disappointed.
The album's second single, "Last Ride", was made available on iTunes on May 12, 2017. A music video for the song, directed by Glenn Danzig and featuring Diane Foster, was published on the official Danzig YouTube page on September 1, 2017.
