It wa small dimly lit, old. My mom got stuck in one when the doors closed and it wouldn’t move. She was in tears it was really messed up. $2,000 for a one bedroom where the the bathroom ceiling would leak and sag down. It completely fell down one day, nobody was home good thing. They fixed it and it leaked again.
The severed hand photo…I saw that photo a few years ago. It haunted me because it was one of the first graphic, up close picture I had seen of the horrors of 9/11. Tried finding the post again several times. At some point I thought I had just imagined it. Thanks for sharing. It’s important to remember how horrible that day was.
