Now if you're like me and expect either some serious thriller vibes and action, or a portrayal of meticulous journalistic work bearing fruit, you'll be disappointed.

Jun 5, 2022 · Like all good mystery films, at the centre of “Below the Fold” is a compelling mystery which feels deeply personal and instantly draws the viewer in. A young girl called Susie Potter disappeared without a trace from the quiet town of Skidmore, Missouri.
Naturally, then, you can imagine my interest upon hearing the synopsis for writer/director Clayton Scott’s feature debut, Below the Fold, which just made its world premiere at this year’s Panic Fest. It opens with the disappearance of a young girl.

It’s shot on his home rural Missouri turf, an area he’s familiar with and uses this knowledge effectively in his film-making.
