Bellshill (pronounced "Bells hill") is a town in North Lanarkshire in Scotland, ten miles (sixteen kilometres) southeast of Glasgow city centre. About 20,000 people live there.
A very unusual type of house construction in that it is made of old railway sleepers and weather proofed with roofing felt and tar. It is located on the old Toll house site on a section of the old Coatbridge Road just north of the present day large maternity hospital.
