Apr 26, 2012 · Pleased have had a good look at Bellshill past. I have family history in Bellshill. My Grandmother was born at 6 Wilson's Rows which I assume was the same place or nearby Wilson's Square. Her Parents were married at the same address 3 days earlier. The family had moved from Overtoun sometime after 1884.

BELLSHILL, a village, in the parish of Bothwell, Middle ward of the county of Lanark, 1½ mile (E.) from Bothwell; containing 1013 inhabitants.
