Your student will receive an email from Admission stating that there has been an update to their Bard portal. Your student is to log in to their portal and click on their Dashboard Tab where all decision letters and correspondences from the College are displayed. Offers of Admission can be accepted, declined, or deferred, within the Bard portal.
The College Board's College Scholarship Service Profile (CSS Profile) must be filed by this date in order for eligible students to receive a financial aid package alongside their admission decision. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ) must be completed as soon as it becomes available in December, and no later than February 1, 2024.

Decision letters will be released through your Bard applicant portal by April 1. If you’re accepted, you’ll have until May 1 to decide whether to accept the offer of admission, decline the offer of admission, or defer your acceptance for one year.
All BardBac applicants need to get two letters of recommendation. These letters can come from anyone who knows you well and can speak to your ambitions and interests–they don’t have to be from professors or teachers.

When prompted in the Recommendations section of the application, enter each recommender's name and contact information.
