Mum and Dad are going on an adventure for the day, wearing the kids as their cheeky backpacks. Seeing the sights and buying street food, backpacking is a blast - until they lose their passports.

Bluey, Bingo and Cousins Muffin and Socks find a “good luck” trinket that Mum explains she got whilst backpacking. Much to Chilli and Bandits resignation, the kids decide they want to be the backpacks in a game of “backpackers”.
The kids cling to Chilli and Bandit and whisper game commands as they embark on their backpacking adventures. The first whisper-command has Chilli searching for a guidebook to book a hotel - Bluey the backpack eventually gives it up as an “I’m hungry” whisper-command is issued to Bandit.
This leads him to a croissant stall manned by a dog-gnome vendor. After being commanded to buy ALL the croissants, he is pleasantly surprised that the currency accepted is bananas.
•This episode establishes that Bandit and Chilli went backpacking in India.
•In the scene where the group are trekking through a shopping street, a small Luxo Jr. ball can be seen in the background about 5 times, most prominent the time when Chilli moves out of frame and the ball is clearly seen.
•On the "Watch" section of the Bluey.tv website, this episode and Teasing are shown in each other's places, listing this episode as episode 48 instead of 37 and vice versa.
•While pretending to be one of Chilli's backpacks, Socks' body proportions resemble her updated two-legged appearance from Christmas Swim onward.
•Long Dog: This long dog is light brown with a slightly darker brown spot and nose. It is visible in the center of the foreground when Bandit and Chilli first enter the shed.
