    • Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) Sam Worthington reprises his role of disabled ex-marine turned forest-dwelling Na’vi Jake Sully, only this time as a father of four — two sons and two daughters.
    • Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) Neytiri is the Na’vi love of Jake’s life. The story of their relationship can be found in the first “Avatar” film, in which Neytiri fell in love with Jake despite him being an outsider.
    • Kiri (Sigourney Weaver) Kiri’s conception inside the Avatar body of the late scientist and researcher Grace (Sigourney Weaver) remains a mystery, but the young daughter of the lover of the Na’vi people carries on a lot of Grace’s characteristics, like her fascination with the creatures of Pandora and how the whole system of the planet connects.
    • Quaritch (Stephen Lang) Stephen Lang returns to Pandora in a reincarnation of sorts of his character from the first film: Colonel Miles Quaritch. Though Jake killed Quaritch’s human form and body on Pandora in “Avatar” (2009), scientists had prepared for such an event by storing his memories and essence on a backup hard drive to use for an Avatar body they inserted him into on Earth.

Pandora is one of the early quests in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and is the second main mission in the game. Now that you’ve finally broken free and escaped the TAP facility and made it into the wilds of the planet of Pandora, you’ll need to find a way to meet up with your friends, and your new allies in the Resistance.

Exiting the facility, take in the new sights and sounds of the lush Kinglor Forest, but don’t get too carried away and get lost just yet. There’s a small stream flowing downhill, so follow it to search for So’lek and the others who should have escaped by now.

You may spot a few galloping creatures fleeing as you approach, but nothing here should be hostile for now. Keep moving along the stream and stick to the right side of the water until you draw close to a larger Dyer’s Bowl Lake that the stream empties out into.

On the right, you should spot a small plume of smoke coming from the wreckage of one of the RDA’s mech suits (called AMPs) and choppers. Using this as a new trail, follow the line of wreckage northwest along the side of the river.

When the path of wreckage drifts off to the east away from the river, look to the right and you should be able to spot a small Fueling Station past some trees on a small hill.

Mantle up and over the crates at the front of the station to climb over the top and to the other side, where you can spot more ruined AMPs near a larger tree where So’lek is resting.

He’s been injured, and it’s up to you to pick up the torch (or bow, in this case).

A bow is nothing without some good and sturdy arrows, and luckily the Na’vi have the innate ability to sense the flora and fauna around them to detect what can be used to help you.

Turn around from So’lek and use the prompt when looking to the edge of the hilltop off to the west. You should spot a small spot of rigid stalks with pink leaves, and when viewing it in your Na’vi Sense, you can press the indicated button to gain more information.

This flora is called the Archer’s Thicket - so named because the thicket of sturdy stalks make great materials for arrow shafts. You can simply walk up to them and interact to harvest the thicket and gain 1 bundle of Sticks.

Simply harvesting the sticks from the thicket isn’t enough, you’ll need to craft them into arrows for your new bow. You can do this by bringing up the same wheel you used to view your food, only now you’ll find two tabs - one for food, and one for weapons. Highlight your longbow, and it will show you the ammo you can craft. There are two types of arrows, but you only have ingredients for regular arrows, so hold down the prompt to craft 10 arrows from 1 bundle of Sticks.

So’lek will still need some healing items to get back on his feet, requiring pods from the Dapophet plant. They are larger plants that rise up with star-like fronds at their top, and small, barnacle-like pods along their thick stems, and can usually be found near water.

With that in mind, head back the way you came over the Fueling Station and down to the river where the RDA wreckage was. If you get turned around, be sure to pull out your map and angle the view to see around the fog to where the Dyer’s Bowl lake is.

At the lakeside edge, you’ll likely hear the sound of gunfire. Turn to the north, and you can spot some RDA humans firing at some hostile wildlife that your Na’vi Sense marks as Hammerhead Titanothere. These high level creatures aren’t to be messed with, but the lakeshore they are at is full of Dapophet Pods…

Run along the shore and skirt around them while they attack the humans, and use this opportunity to harvest a couple of pods. There’s usually a couple pods per plant, but don’t take too long, as the creatures will turn on you once the soldiers are killed, and one hit is probably enough to kill you.

Once you’ve got a few pods, run back up the lakeshore and return towards the Fueling Station, only to find the RDA have found So’lek. A few soldiers have him surrounded, backed up by another soldier in an AMP suit.

Luckily, your Na’vi Sense is good for more than just finding plants. Using it here will highlight enemies, as well as weak spots on the AMP suit: two small exhaust ports on its back. Take aim with your bow and fire off a few arrows. Your giant size and big arrows means you can piece the AMP suit in just a few shots, and then skewer the small humans surrounding So’lek with a single arrow apiece.
