    To open Clipchamp in Windows 11, click the Start button.     To add additional clips to the video, click the plus button on the left and then browse to or drag and drop the clip you wish to include. Drag the clip to the timeline. If the video is too long to see all of it on the timeline, click the icon for Zoom to fit. You can also zoom in or zoom out on the timeline.

    To display text on the video, such as a title, click the icon on the left toolbar for Text. On the left, click the plus button for the text style you like or drag it onto the timeline.     Next, you can add music and special audio effects, but only if you have one of the paid subscriptions. If so, click the icon on the left toolbar for Music & SFX. Click the Play button to preview any music or effects that interest you. When you find one you like, drag it to the appropriate spot on the timeline.

    Click the icon for Stock images to add images from the Clipchamp library to your video. Do the same with Stock video to add clips from the library to the timeline. Both options offer content for the free plan and the paid subscriptions.

    Further down the toolbar on the left, you can add graphics and transitions to your video by dragging specific ones to the timeline.

    Next, you can add a template to your video either by using one to create a new project or by adding one to the timeline for an existing video. Click the icon on the left for Templates. Click the thumbnail for the template category that interests you. Drag the template you want to use to the timeline or click the plus button for that template.

    You can also add a new recording to your video. Click the Record & Create button on the left. Here, you can choose to add a camera recording, screen recording, both, or a text to speech recording. Choose your preferred option and then add the recording to the timeline.

    You can change the aspect ratio for your video based on the type of device or screen for which it’s intended. By default, the video uses a 16:9 ratio.
