This was easy, I did it by running back and forth through the same group of guards chasing me. Just hold down the Circle button while running, you'll usually hook and run two of them every time you charge through the group.

If I recall correctly, the hook and run needs you to run at a target and press and hold O when you're right next to him. The other move is the same thing, except you press O then release immediately. For others with this problem, just use the same guard group, keep the button held down constantly, don't lift your finger and just keep running at the guards, you will complete the challenge in less then 1 minute. Live Fast, Fight Hard. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect.

Nov 25, 2011 · 7. When you're sprinting, with the hookblade equipped, tap B (or O for PS3) right as you approach your target. If you HOLD the button, you'll only do a hook and run, which isn't what you want. It takes a little practice to get the timing right, but it's pretty fun when you do it right. Side note: It doesn't seem to work on Janissaries.
You can perform a hook-and-run to flip over your enemy and keep moving, allowing you to get through the cordons of enemies that block your progress. You can also tap the button again mid-animiation to throw them to the ground instead - particularily humourous when used on lone rooftop guards to toss them into the street.
