Aug 27, 2018 · Check Alli’s vetted list for publishers clearly marked in red with a history of problems. These are definitely ones to avoid. You will find alerts for problematic book publishers, such as AuthorHouse, Dog Ear Publishing, Dorrance Publishing, and Page Publishing, just to name a few.
For anyone considering doing so, I would highly recommend it. Their prices were reasonable, and they did an incredible job on my cover, editorial, and marketing. I paid for the extra marketing package for my book, but it made a huge difference. The reviews and sales easily made up the cost just in the first month.
I've researched dozens of printers for my coffee table book, and OnPress was the best intersection between options and value. The printing, detail and feel of materials were exactly what I was hoping for, and as soon as the copies I ordered are proofread, I'll be ordering a lot more from them.
