May 15, 2017 · 15th May 2017. Hello, I am a fledgling author and I'd be grateful for any feedback on Pegasus as a publisher. They turned down my first book but have offered to publish my second book. They want a contribution from me of £2300. For this they offer royalties of 25% on book sales 50% on e book sales.

I've been emailing my manuscript to different publishing houses for a while now when yesterday, one from the UK express an interest. I found them weeks ago on an forum meant to advise first-time writers, and though they appear earnest, I'm developing doubts.
Jan 10, 2021 · The old-school scammers set up “agencies” that either charged reading fees and “copying and postage” fees, or they had cozy relationships with “editing” companies and demanded the author pay a hefty fee for a bad edit. The contemporary scammers are much bolder.

They have so many negative reviews. I’m hoping that someone has had a positive experience with them. I published with Authorhouse a few years ago and unfortunately, the reviews are true. I’ve had an unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
