Aug 27, 2018 · Check Alli’s vetted list for publishers clearly marked in red with a history of problems. These are definitely ones to avoid. You will find alerts for problematic book publishers, such as AuthorHouse, Dog Ear Publishing, Dorrance Publishing, and Page Publishing, just to name a few.
They have so many negative reviews. I’m hoping that someone has had a positive experience with them. I published with Authorhouse a few years ago and unfortunately, the reviews are true. I’ve had an unpleasant experience and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I've published with traditional publishers, and my experience was that they were overworked, had minimal marketing at best, and paid out very little in royalties. Atmosphere was a markedly better experience.
