He married Barbara Isaac in 1966, but they divorced in 1976. Carney and Myers reconciled in the late 1970s and married a second time. They had three children together, Eileen, Bryan, and Paul. Carney died on November 9, 2003; he was 85. Carney is survived by his wife, Jean, three children, six grandchildren, and one grandson.

Arthur William Matthew Carney (November 4, 1918 – November 9, 2003) was an American actor and comedian. A recipient of an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and six Primetime Emmy Awards, he was best known for his role as Ed Norton on the sitcom The Honeymooners (1955–1956).
