    The Advanced Placement (AP) program at Armstrong is one of the largest AP programs in the state of Minnesota, offering AP courses in English, social studies, science, math, global language, art and music. AP is a voluntary program that offers students an opportunity to take one or more college-level courses while still in high school.

    The arts are a central part of Armstrong. Students have opportunities to foster life-long interest and self-expression in the arts through the courses in drama, vocal and instrumental music, creative writing and the visual arts.

    At Armstrong, there are more than 75 school sponsored teams, clubs, performing and fine arts activities and sports. Armstrong’s school sports teams compete in the Northwest Suburban Conference.
