"Good weird" are usually people who have a different sense of style, taste, dress etc but are still personable. "Bad weird" are usually people who don't get social cues and end up (typically accidentally) being offputting or out of sync with others.
Most saliently, WEIRD people are highly individualistic, which means we are overconfident, self-obsessed and even more suicide-prone. WEIRD people also tend to be highly analytical in their thinking. That is, we focus on individuals and their properties at the expense of relationships and backgrounds.
Summary. Psychology has a WEIRD problem. It is overly reliant on participants from Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic societies. Over the last decade this problem has come to be widely acknowledged, yet there has been little progress toward making psychology more diverse.
