WHAT is in your vault? I personally only have: Weapons with good rolls + from previous seasons only 1 and sometimes 2 times the same version (I only properly dismantle weapons from this season in 2 months)
The analyzer looks for any combination of stats that can theoretically contribute to any kind of build from a no-mods build with T10 Recovery, T7 Discipline, T7 Intellect on Warlock for PvE to a fully modded 10/10/10/5 Hunter build for PvP.
I had 9 pages of items in the vault when I started purging and now I have 6 items. It was a total massacre. I don't PvP unless i have to so most everything in there was scrap. I wasn't too polite about either; otherwise I'd be hovering over the kiosk for days trying to decide.

Blue gear, vehicles, Ghost shells, and ships should be scrapped immediately if they’re taking up space. You can easily bring them back up from Collections at the cost of a handful of shards. There is no risk of losing them forever. They’ll be waiting for you should you feel nostalgic about the Good ole Days of Destiny 2.

If your armor is overall 65 or lower, dismantle it. Don’t even bother making the argument about it looking good. Get the armor, scrap it, and it’ll be part of your Collection as an ornament to a far more superior piece that can actually help you in end-game content. Hoarding armor is a very bad practice.
Get those pieces of gear to form the base of a build. So you’ve got your 66 and above pieces of armor. That’s cool and all. But they’re not going to be doing anything just sitting in your vault. Read up on some build guide articles, or watch a couple of Youtube videos. Anything. Just get those pieces together and actually do something with them.
