- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The word “perfect” is rarely used in the videogame industry, with all the hyperbole attached to it. Maybe “superb”, “outstanding” or even “almost perfect” are often more appropriate – but as far as sequels go, we’re not afraid to say that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was and is perfect.

Building from the solid foundation of the original game, this PS3 classic ratcheted the action and set pieces to a previously unseen level, matching the greatest Hollywood blockbusters with seemingly every new level.

We waited a long time to see how Drake’s tale would finish up on PlayStation 4, but it proved to be well worth the wait: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the culmination of all of the series’ strengths, and it’s incredibly impressive as a result.
