  1. Valley of Rocks. This fascinating valley is a U-shaped dry valley that is parallel to the sea. It lies about ½ mile to the west of Lynton. It is well known for its feral goats that roam freely and often quite hair-raisingly on the jagged cliff edges.

  2. It was a wonderful visit and worth the trek, the scenery all around is spectacular, the nature, the sea, the light. The sun was a bonus but the island is spectacular as always, well worth a visit for a day or even longer if time allows....spotted yurts in the campsite. ...maybe next time.

  3. We called to see the goats on our way home from holiday and was not disappointed! They don't charge for entry (but donations are greatly received) and bags of goat food cost £1. The goats are gorgeous and Mr T the tortoise is fabulous. Definitely worth a visit.

  4. Sep 9, 2024 · What a treat! An excellent way to see some of the famous sights of Dublin Bay including the 40ft, Scotsman's Bay, Dalkey Island, The Muglins. Lots of seal sightings, sea birds, wild goats, mad sea swimmers to name a few.

  6. Great to see the Goats just roaming free. Plenty of willing goats looking for a gentle fuss, plus the opportunity to feed some of them if you purchase a bag of goat feed for £1. Definitely worth the visit. Buttercups is a Charity Kent-based sanctuary that provides a home for neglected and abused goats.
